For the Bulk
  • 1 can Refried Beans black beans can be used instead
  • 10 oz Rotel Tomatoes with Green Chilies can substitute with fresh ingredients
For the Topping
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese a blend of cheeses enhances flavor
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Green Onions for garnish
To Serve
  • 1 bag Tortilla Chips can also serve with veggies

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Fold in refried beans and Rotel tomatoes, then stir in taco seasoning.
  4. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ground cumin, and black pepper; stir gently.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and half of the sliced green onions.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with the remaining green onions and serve hot with tortilla chips.
