Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the room temperature unsalted butter, chopped parsley, pressed garlic, lemon zest, dried thyme, rosemary, basil, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until fully blended.
- Place the unhusked corn directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Roast for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Carefully remove the corn from the oven and peel back the husks to expose the kernels. Slather with garlic herb butter.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional chopped parsley and a sprinkle of smoked paprika if desired.
