- Stir in the brown rice, white beans, canned diced tomatoes, dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, sea salt, red pepper flakes, and enough water to cover everything.
- Reduce the heat to medium, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Once the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed, gently fold in the fresh spinach.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
