Step-by-Step Instructions for Sizzling Mongolian
  1. Coat the protein by sprinkling cornstarch over the thinly sliced beef, chicken, or tofu in a bowl. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Sear the protein in a heated skillet over medium-high heat with oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
