Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, reduced sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed red pepper flakes, and ground ginger. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, crumble it, and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with beef and add sliced green onions. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the Korean Beef Bowl over steamed rice and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
