  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your large mixing bowl and loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with chopped green onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add panko breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a lined baking sheet. Ensure even packing and smooth the top.
  4. Spread a layer of Korean BBQ sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Consider adding more BBQ sauce within the last 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly for about 10 minutes before slicing.
