  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Can replace with soy sauce.

For the Assembly
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese Can substitute with cheddar or mozzarella.

Directions
  1. Heat the pan: Drizzle olive oil into a large skillet and heat over medium-high for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Cook vegetables: Add onions and green bell peppers, sauté for 3-5 minutes, then add mushrooms if using.
  3. Brown the beef: Push veggies aside, add ground beef, cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Season: Stir in garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Melt the cheese: Place slices of provolone cheese on top, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Prepare rolls: Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise and toast lightly if desired.
  7. Assemble sandwiches: Fill each roll with the beef and vegetable mixture evenly.
  8. Serve hot: Optionally garnish with pickles or serve with crispy fries.
