Cooking Steps
- In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat, then add 1 pound of ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes, using a wooden spoon to break it apart as it browns.
- Add 3 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
- Pour in ¼ cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Once the sauce has thickened, remove the skillet from heat and fold in the white parts of 3 sliced green onions.
- Spoon the beef mixture over a bed of cooked rice, spreading the mixture generously to cover it.
- Top your Korean-Style Beef Bowl with the green onion tops and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added texture.
- Serve with a side of crunchy cucumber kimchi or steamed bok choy if desired.

Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor infusion. Avoid overcrowding the skillet when browning the beef to enhance the overall flavor.
