  • 4 filets salmon skin-on preferred
  • 2 tablespoons honey for glaze
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional for heat
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds optional

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season salmon filets with salt and black pepper.
  3. Add salmon to the skillet skin-side down and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Flip salmon and pour honey garlic mixture over each filet.
  6. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until salmon is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
