Cake Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and 1¾ cups of milk until completely smooth and well combined. This should take about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the chocolate cake mix. Stir until just blended—be careful not to overmix, as this can make the cake tough.
- Roughly chop your peanut butter cups into bite-sized pieces. Carefully fold them into the batter, distributing them evenly throughout.
- Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Place in a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for about 25 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
