Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, take 1.25 pounds of ground turkey and divide it into four equal portions. Form each portion into a patty about 3/4-inch thick.
  3. Season both sides of each patty with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder.
  4. Transfer the patties to a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Cook the bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to paper towel to absorb excess grease.
  6. Bake the turkey patties for approximately 20-30 minutes, ensuring they reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F (75°C).
  7. In the last few minutes of baking, top each burger with a slice of sharp cheddar cheese and bake until melted.
  8. Toast the brioche buns cut-side up for 1-2 minutes in the oven.
  9. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Layer with turkey patty, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, and top with the other half of the bun.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite sides like crispy fries or a fresh salad.
