- In a mixing bowl, whisk together ¼ cup soy sauce, ¼ cup honey, ¼ cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon five-spice powder, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon grated ginger.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Coat the chicken thoroughly with your prepared marinade.
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and position an oven rack in the center.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the marinated chicken skin side up on the sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
