Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a 12x5-inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
- Mash 3 to 4 ripe bananas until smooth in a large mixing bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients: melted butter, egg, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt with the mashed bananas.
- Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
