Method
 

Preparation

  2. Mash 3 to 4 ripe bananas until smooth in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: melted butter, egg, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt with the mashed bananas.
  4. Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
