Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- Mash 3-4 very ripe bananas until smooth with some small chunks remaining.
- Stir in ½ cup of melted butter, then add two eggs one at a time, mixing well. Finish with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Fold this into the wet ingredients.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 60 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
