Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice, and ½ cup of honey or maple syrup over medium-high heat. Stir well and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Once the mixture reaches a boil, carefully add 12 ounces of fresh or frozen cranberries. Stir to ensure they are well-coated and return to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and allow to cook for about 5 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for about 15 minutes. Transfer to a clean container, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
