Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing the flank steak thinly against the grain.
  2. In a bowl, combine the beef with soy sauce and cornstarch, ensuring every piece is coated well. Let marinate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove the beef and set aside. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the minced ginger and cook for 1 minute. Return the beef to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and oyster sauce, stirring everything together thoroughly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir fry, season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with green onions before serving.
