- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the pecan pie filling into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the pecan pie filling, do not stir.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Scatter the chopped pecans across the top and gently press them into the cake mix.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until golden brown and bubbly at the edges.
- Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
