  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adjust quantity if using fresh minced garlic.

Topping
  • 2 sleeves Ritz Crackers Crushed, substitute with panko breadcrumbs if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by cooking your chicken breast until fully cooked, about 20-25 minutes at 375°F if baking or boiling for quicker results.
  2. Crush the Ritz crackers into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until coated.
  3. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  4. Stir in sliced green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Gently fold in the cooked and shredded chicken into the creamy mixture.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F, grease a 9x13-inch baking dish, and spread half of the chicken mixture, layer with half of the cheddar cheese, top with remaining chicken and cheddar.
  7. Sprinkle the buttery cracker topping evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
