Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add unsalted butter. Melt and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Stir in rice and coat for another minute, then add chicken broth. Boil, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Once the rice is cooked, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking on low until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. In the skillet, add more butter and olive oil if needed. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, and juice. Whisk for 2-3 minutes on medium.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the sauce for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve by placing creamy rice on each plate, topped with chicken and extra sauce. Garnish with parsley.
