Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add onions and garlic, and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes. Incorporate shredded chicken with salt and pepper, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter, whisk in garlic, then add heavy cream. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then gradually mix in Parmesan cheese.
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in a baking dish, layer with noodles, chicken mixture, ricotta, and mozzarella; repeat layers and finish with sauce and mozzarella.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and garnish with parsley.
